Project Focus: Using technology (focus 1)
Project Description:
I am proposing the development of a podcast, in which I welcome new Service Centers and their technical staff.
The podcast will be instrumental, for it will assist in the introduction of these newly-qualified companies to our company’s policies and practices within the professional audio industry.
Podcast technology is important to me in the first place, because to the best of my knowledge, electronic manufacturers do not yet make use of podcasts as an information tool.
Secondly, because typically electronic manufacturers simply do not provide any formal orientation to arriving service companies.
I chose this project in the belief I will be the first person within the electronics industry doing something of this nature with a podcast presentation.
I am also a newcomer to podcast technology; I expect to learn a lot about this technology tool by developing the proposed presentation.
Since podcasting is a new area of technology to me, it will be beneficial for me to prepare this project, for it will allow me to master this new technology tool; thus, I shall become more effective and will become a better role model to others in the use of technology.
PROJECT ARTIFACTS
1) I will post the resulting podcast for instructor and scholar review.
2) The good organization, clarity of thought, conciseness and effective transfer of information will definitely be good quality indicators.
3) These artifacts accurately and appropriately reflect my engagement in the process, because the effective use of the podcast as a technological teaching tool will increase my personal effectiveness as a technology instructor.
